Online Picture Sudoku
Welcome to Picture Sudoku. We offer a new twist on the familiar number placement game. Sudoku with pictures is easier than numbers as you can see paterns at a glance. In my unsubstantiated opinion, it's also better mental excersize, as you use the right brain too.
All you have to do is place the pictures in the grid so that every row, every column, and each of the nine 3x3 square contains only one occurence of every picture.
You can solve any puzzle generated here without making notes, and they all have only one solution.
If you try to place a picture where it already exists on that row, column, or small square, both occurences will be highlighted in red. If your mistake is more subtle, you can click the 'give me a hint' button and any errors will be highlighted in red, or if you've made no mistakes, a green square will show where you can go next.
In traditional Sudoku, each of the 3x3 squares must contain one of every number from 1-9. Other popular number games are also grid based, such as number crossword and bingo. To play bingo, you have to tick or check off the squares as the numbers are called, once you have a solid checked line either in row, a column or diagonal you can call the game. Pattern bingo, a variation of the traditional 75 ball bingo game, changes the objective from a checked straight line of numbers to an arrangement of checked squares in a pattern, which include crosses and diamond, letters and even heart shapes.
